Signal Groups

Signal groups allows to modify different signals and write them together into the message payload.

Importing a DBC or ARXML file CanEasy automatically detects signal groups.

Signal groups can also be manually created under a message.

There is a workspace setting under Database "Write signals from a signal group directly to the message".

If this setting is active (default) changes to a signal will directly be written into the message payload.

If you deactivate this setting multiple signals can be modified and written all by once when hitting the "Apply" button from the panel.

Using the scheduler you can use the "Apply" action to trigger the writing of the signals into the message.

Using the COM API you can use SignalGroup type to get a signal group and call the method Apply.
