Bus Statistics

General

Bus statistics can be viewed by clicking on the menu entry “Tools Bus statistic...”. The option is available only if at least one bus has been created in the workspace. In the window, a separate tab is created for each bus, displaying relevant bus information. Values are updated every second. If a bus is deleted, the tab in the bus statistic window is automatically removed. If a new bus is created, a new tab is automatically added. If no bus is available, the window is closed and can be reopened when there is at least one bus. The window’s position is saved in the workspace.

Display

Bus load (blue) and peak load (red) are displayed using a bar graph. Below the bar graph, bus load percentage is shown; above the graph, peak load percentage is shown. Statistics on standard, extended and remote frames are displayed, divided into sent and received frames, total frame number and frames per second.

Furthermore, the current chip state is shown (bus off, passive, warning, active).
