In the Display section, the following options can be configured:

 

Show welcome screen

By default, a welcome window is shown when starting CanEasy. The display of this window can be deactivated using this option.

 

Show disclaimer

By default, a yellow disclaimer window is shown when starting CanEasy. The display of this window can be deactivated with this option.

 

Show message ID in explorer view

If this option is activated, a message’s ID is shown next to its name in the tree view.

 

Show VBA IDE on error

If this option is activated, the execution of VBA macros is halted in case of errors, enabling debugging the affected macro.

If this option is not activated, errors are ignored during macro execution.

 

Cyclic update of user interface (in ms)

The user interface is updated using a timer. The update interval can be adjusted from 10-5000 Milliseconds. Small values can affect computer performance. This parameter will not affect the timestamp.
