VBA Overview

Using the VBA manager, macros can be created to automate processes in CanEasy with Microsoft® Visual Basic® for Applications (VBA). The complete functionality of VBA and CanEasy can be accessed. CanEasy organizes VBA macros in projects. Thus, a project can contain several macros as well as other VBA functions and forms. Projects and macros are displayed as child nodes to the “VBA” entry inside the tree view. If the VBA icon is greyed out / deactivated, VBA was installed but could not be used because of the current selected license (feature missing). If the VBA icon is missing in the tree, CanEasy was installed without VBA.

More information on Visual Basic® for Applications (VBA) can be found in the Microsoft® VBA help. To access the VBA help, open the VBA development environment and press the F1 key.
