Using the AIDA stacker with CanEasy

Allgemein

The AIDA stacker enables creating and testing communication protocol layers. In addition, diagnostic commands can be sent directly to a connected bus. Please refer to the section documentation BSK diagnostics 7 for more information on the AIDA stacker.

Configuration

The AIDA stacker uses CanEasy's hardware interface to communicate with connected hardware. To use the interface, the AIDA stacker must be linked to CanEasy using inter process communication. Inter process communication (IPC) enables the exchange of data among multiple processes. To use IPC, a unique IPC channel name must be entered in CanEasy's IPC Interface Plug-in. The respective channel name for the AIDA stacker is a combination of the string "CEV_HAL_" and the index number of the used hardware channel (in most cases "1"). For example: "CEV_HAL_1".
