Allgemein

The IPC interface plug-in enables linking buses within CanEasy to IPC channels. IPC is short for "inter-process communication" and enables the exchange of data among multiple processes. In this case, CAN data is exchanged between CanEasy and another process. This process must be defined via a unique channel name.  

 

Assigning IPC channels

Please follow the steps below to assign an IPC channel to a bus:

 

1.Select the desired bus from the drop-down menu titled Busname.

2.Enter the IPC channel name into the IPC Channel field.

3.Click on the button Add.

 

Only one IPC channel can be assigned to each bus. If a channel is assigned to a bus already linked to another IPC channel, the previous channel is replaced. All assigned IPC channels within the workspace are displayed in the list in the lower half of the plug-in window.
