System plug-ins are located in the folder “System-Plug-Ins” within the CanEasy installation directory. These plug-ins can only be created by the manufacturer. They are distinct because they are loaded automatically during the start of CanEasy. User plug-ins on the other hand, must first be loaded manually by the user.

Examples for system plug-ins are the trace or plot windows and the record function. If system plug-ins are missing, CanEasy can be used with limited functionality only.
