Simulation

In the Simulation section, the following options can be configured:

On simulation start

Reset signal values
If this option is activated, all signals are set to a predefined value on simulation startup. There are two options to set the value:

- to zero (Sets all signals to “0” at simulation start)
or
- to Default (Sets all signals to the default value specified in the DBC file)

If this option is deactivated, the current signal values are kept.

Rest environment variables
If this option is activated, all environment variables are set to the default value on simulation startup

High process priority
If this option is activated, the process priority of CanEasy is set to "high" on simulation startup.
When stopping simulation it will be reset to "normal".
This option should be enabled if there are problems with cycle time compliance.

Clean up report window
Deletes the content of the report window on simulation start.

Simulation behavior of ECUs

In this field, ECUs to be automatically set to “real” in the control unit editor after DBC file generation can be specified. Other ECUs will automatically be set to “reduced” simulation behavior.

If no real ECU is specified, all ECUs will be set to “complete” simulation behavior after file generation.

Hinweis Note:
Entered names are not case-sensitive.

Autostart

Activating the option Start simulation automatically will automatically start the simulation after CanEasy has opened. In order to wait until all simulation applications are started, a delay time in seconds can be entered.
