<< Click to Display Table of Contents >> Navigation: Working with CanEasy > The CanEasy Desktop > About Dialog |
The “About” dialog of CanEasy contains comprehensive program information, on the one hand giving useful information about the current CanEasy version in case of support questions, on the other hand providing information about the current workspace. This information is required for documentation and to ensure reproducibility during testing and analysis.
The following entries are available:
General
Information about the used software version, license and, depending upon the license, available functions.
Libraries
Information about the libraries loaded by CanEasy.
System plug-ins, user plug-ins
For all plug-ins, name, memory location, versions, date of change and path are shown, providing information about the used plug-ins.
Trace panel, signal plots, user panels
CanEasy lets users store trace windows, signal-plots or user panels either within the workspace or as an external file. This tab shows which trace windows, signal plots or user panels are used, and, if they are stored in an external file, where the files are located.
Data bases
This tab shows the data bases of currently loaded workspaces and the communication matrices from which buses in the data base were generated. That provides users with a precise overview on the communication matrices used for the simulation.
Recordings
This section is only available if a recording is loaded, or CanEasy has already recorded data after the start of a simulation. Here, the name, memory location, date of change and path of a recording is shown.
Legal notice
This tab contains legal notes regarding certain CanEasy functionalities.
