The data window of CanEasy displays the same content as the list view.
Any values from the database can be added to the window using drag and drop.
These are displayed in the window in the form of a table.
When using drag&drop, all contained value elements are inserted.
Example: If a message is dropped, all signals of the message are also inserted.
When inserting an ECU, a context menu opens. Here you have the choice to insert all Tx or all Rx signals of the ECU.
With a further mouse click on a cell the value can be edited directly.
If a value table is linked, a list box opens where you can simply choose the value to be set.
Without a value table the value can be changed via a text box.
The contents of the following columns can be changed:
oName
oValue
oUnit
oType
oMinimum
oMaximum
oDescription
When changing the name, only the entry in the data window is renamed. The name of the linked signal remains unchanged.
All other columns directly change the referenced database object.
A value can always be entered in decimal or hexadecimal notation (prefix 0x).
Using the context menu, all windows or even individual windows can be exported/imported.
