Special settings for the LIN diagnostic configuration are not required.

See: Setting the diagnostic parameters

 

For LIN by default 0x3c is used as request ID and 0x3d as response ID.

If a LIN control unit is to be simulated, the IDs can be overwritten/swapped.

 

Flow controls are not used for LIN and are automatically deactivated.

When a request is sent, all scheduler tables are automatically deactivated and the header frame for the slave response is sent cyclically.

After receiving the response, the scheduler table is then automatically reactivated.
