BSKD7 symbol mapping

BSKD symbols can be mapped to CanEasy environment variables.

As a result, the value of the environment variable is updated when the symbol value has changed and vice versa.

To assign a BSKD symbol to an environment variable, add the symbol name to the mapping table.

You can open the mapping table via the context menu of a BSKD project, selecting the menu entry "Settings symbol mapping".

All symbols mapped to environment variables are listed alphabetically.

Note: After changing the mapping table, you must restart the BSKD terminal to make the changes effective.

When starting the BSKD terminal, a namespace will be created automatically below the tree entry "Environment variables" using the name of the BSKD project. Within the namespace, the environment variables are located which already have the current symbol value.

Hinweis Note:
The data type double is a constant in BSKD; therefore, the data type cannot be updated after changing an environment variable.
