This section describes general replay settings.

Options in the replay settings window depend on the loaded recording. The channels included in the recording are displayed in separate tabs. Depending on the bus type of the recorded channels, different replay settings are available.

General replay settings

After loading a recording for replay, playback of sent (Tx) or received (Rx) messages can be suppressed using a filter.

The Replay mode defines the following:

Normal: Replay starts right away, regardless of the first timestamp.

Stepwise: Messages are sent one by one. After each message, the replay pauses until the configured key to continue the replay job is pressed (see section Keys, Key for 'Resume/Suspend').

Animated with: All messages are played back in an adjustable cycle time.

If “play on simulation start” is checked, the recording is played back automatically when the simulation is started. The check box “repeat” defines, whether the recording is played again after the end has been reached.

The Replay start defines how the recording is played back.

Immediately: The replay is played back immediately, regardless of the first time stamp.

Like in recording: Messages are sent when the time stamp of the first message is reached.

Hinweis Note:
It can take some time until the first message is replayed (CanEasy will start sending when the first time stamp of the recording is reached).

With delay: Messages are sent with a specified delay.

From time stamp: All messages with an earlier time stamp than the one specified are skipped and will not be included in the replay.

The format is Days:Hours:Minutes:Seconds
Days, Hours, Minutes,Seconds could be integer or float (accurate to 4 decimal places).
Only digits and characters ":" , "," and "." are allowed ( one "." or "," for each part separated by ":" , maximum 3 ":" characters)

The Stop at determines when recording ends.

All messages with a later time stamp than the one specified are skipped and will not be included in the replay.

In the Keys section, the user can register hotkeys to start/stop or continue/pause the recording.

In the bus information section at the bottom of the window, the settings used at the time the recording was made are displayed. This information helps assigning of recorded channels to a replay bus.
